Everything Changes | All That Seems Random #29
Wow, it’s Friday again which means it’s time for All That Seems Random Fridays, where we share how aware (or not) we are of the events, people and opportunities the universe has presented to us based on our focus and desires.
Because we need to CELEBRATE them.
And I do on Celebrate, but when I’m honest with myself, I’m only being a poor imitation of Havi Brooks. I stole borrowed the idea from her anyway and while it never really became my own it did help me build some consistency muscle.
That’s what I needed.
Here will be Random Notes from the Desk like:
- Jim Rohn quotes. Rest In Peace Mr. Rohn and thank you for introducing me to a more rounded perspective on business and personal success:
- “Profits are better than wages.”
- You can start part-time working on your fortune while you’re working full-time on your living.
- Your income is directly related to your philosophy, not to the economy.
- Miller’s Law as shared in “How to Disagree Without Being Disagreeable” by Suzette Haden Elgin:
- “In order to understand what another person is saying, you must assume that it is true and try to imagine what it might be true of.” pg 66
- From Paul Myers’ latest email newsletter:
- “Stop trying to be anything, and they’ll see you for what you really are.”
That’s it for me, what random events, people and opportunities are showing up in your life, that aren’t really random at all?
